MOTORSPORTS RULES THE FAIR'S GRANDSTAND

Three exciting Nights of motorsports will thrill audiences at this Year’s Kewaunee County Fair in Luxemburg on July 19-22. Friday will feature the Tractor Pull that includes 10 classes of local pullers competing for bragging rights at one of the area’s biggest gathering of local pullers. In addition to the local pullers a large number of pro pullers are excepted in several “Smoker” Classes. Called “Smokers” because of the large plum of Smoke that they belch out during their run, they display a huge power surge you can feel as they thunder down the track. Over 100 tractors are expected at the event. Saturday will include the popular Demolition Derby. Street cars, modified slightly for safety, duke it out strategically smashing each other until all are eliminated with only one standing. Several divisions of cars run including full size, mid size and compacts. New this year will be a Lawn Tractor Demo Division. You read this right, Lawn Tractors jostling with each other until only one remains. This is a relatively new division where stock lawn tractors make some safety modifications and go at it. The Demolition Derby is open to any participant. Rules can be obtained at ActionAutopromotions.net.

Closing the Fair on Sunday, the Luxemburg Speedway will host the state's best and fastest late model stock cars on the Wisconsin’s premiere 1/3 mile clay oval. The event will also feature IMCA Modifieds and IMCA Hobby Stocks. It’s the first time racing will return to the fair in many years and the return promises to offer fast and close action.
